Our style is relaxed and informal offering easy access for anyone who is just looking – We hope you will feel welcome and at home.

No need to get life sorted before you come just ‘come as you are’

Our services    Sunday mornings .. 10.15 am….. are held at Alderman White School. We meet every Sunday morning, with a shorter service and longer coffee break on the first Sunday in the month.

The services are informal with the option of sitting around coffee tables or in the main seating area.

We spend a time together and then break into adults and children at around 10.45. The Children go to their groups and the adults have a coffee break which leads into the adult service.

You will find practical teaching from the Bible with an emphasis on life issues and how to more than survive in today’s world.

We have a modern style of worship music including reflective quiet music and more upbeat styles.

Holy Communion is served monthly and we have regular opportunities for prayer for healing also.

Sunday Children’s Groups

We currently we have groups for ages ranging from 2 – 16 years. Under two’s tend to stay in the adult service where we have a play mat so parents can still enjoy the adult service. All children have the option of going into children’s groups or staying with their parents in the adult service.

Serving children’s groups ……. basically we are a community where everyone can join in somewhere. So the parents form teams to serve in children’s groups once a month only. Some non-parents also offer to serve in children’s work. For the youngest group we would ask that a parent/carer stays with the children for the first few weeks.

The senior pastors are enhanced CRB checked and we have a child protection policy, although parents and children are always on the same premises.

Resources … books, Cds, DVDs etc.

On Sunday mornings books, cds and dvds are available for loan. You can borrow any of these resources and return them when you’ve finished. If you would like to keep them then just pay half the cover price for books and £5 for Cds into the offering.

Recordings ….. All Sunday services are recorded to allow you to listen to the teaching again or catch up on missed services. These are free as CD and on the website.

Coffee break …… Refreshments are free of charge so please enjoy a cake or biscuit and tea, coffee or a soft drink and meet a few people. The children are also served a soft drink and biscuit in their groups. Every effort has been made to make Sunday mornings an enjoyable, refreshing time for all who come ….

Membership…… Becoming a member of Hope Vineyard is easy…. simply join in, in a way that suits you. We want you to feel included but not pressured. There are four main ways that you can join in with what we’re doing …. Please feel free to join each area of belonging at your own pace, as and when you feel that you want to.

attending Sunday servicesjoining a home groupfinding somewhere to servefinancial givingFinding somewhere to serve ….. In a healthy family, acceptance and belonging arise from everyone serving one another in family duties. In the same way, everyone is invited to take part in serving in an area of their choice, which could include setting up, serving refreshments, or helping with children and teenagers etc.We aim to serve in this way once per month only and therefore involve everyone and keep the workload light.

Home Groups  ……   Some people gather in small groups in a home setting on a weekly basis. The emphasis is on forming relationships, looking out for each other, and growing in the reality of the Christian Faith. You can join any home group by contacting the leaders and visiting the groups.

Giving …. Everyone is invited to give an amount of money that they feel happy to give to finance the work of the church. .

Ministry….. The church has several areas of ministry including several overseas involvement’s, local areas of need, and a midweek youth group. Basically anyone who is established in the church can launch whatever ministry they feel lead in.

Prayer meetings….. We meet every Sunday evening for prayer please ask for arrangements.
